When Ron Williams contacted me about shooting some of the cardiac care video he was producing for Spirit AeroSystems, I called Pam Albright, nurse manager of Via Christi Emergency Services.
The video, I learned from Ron, was to feature some of Spirit’s own employees talking about their experiences, including one or more patients who had come to Via Christi Hospital on East Harry for their care.
Pam immediately said that she and her team would love to help and we scheduled an early morning video shoot the next day.
Even Sedgwick County EMS pitched in, making an ambulance run to the ER to provide the “b-roll” that Ron needed to complete his video, which contains some valuable information on heart failure and heart attack signs and symptoms, treatment and prevention.
