If you attended the February Women’s Connection luncheon, you probably saw the table decorations we created to celebrate Valentine’s Day — M&M flowers.
They are easy to make and can be easily adapted for any occasion.
Here are the instructions on how to make them:
Supplies:
- 1”x8” plastic self-adhesive bags
- Green M&Ms
- 3/8” glue dots
- Colored card stock cut into various 2” and 2 ½” flower shapes (Using a Cricut makes this fast and easy!)
- Stickers, gems, beads
Step 1
Fill bags to different lengths with M&Ms. For more fun, use dark and light green M&Ms and make patterns as you fill the bags.
Step 2
Layer flower shapes, using glue dots to attach.
Step 3
Decorate flowers with stickers, beads and gems.
Step 4
Place a glue dot on one end of the M&M bag and attach a flower. (You can also tie a ribbon around the stem as the flower’s leaves.)
Step 5
Arrange flowers in a vase or small container to create a bouquet. You can use tissue paper to help the flowers stand up.
